Ski and Snowboard School Programs & Rates

The Pats Peak Ski and Snowboard School bases its instruction on the American Teaching System, a method used by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI). This system presents a proven program for developing and refining skills. Pats Peak is a member school of PSIA and AASI - Eastern Division. Starter Special: For the first time skier or snowboarder ages 6 and up. Includes beginner group lesson, rental equipment, and full day lift ticket to Valley area. This is the package that enters you in the Pats Peak and Waterville Valley Passport Program.*

You'll receive a Passport from your instructor during the first lesson. Ski 4 days and take lessons, and you end up with a Season Pass good for the rest of the season at both Pats Peak and Waterville Valley! Lesson Books are available for a savings of approximately 10-20%. These books are non-refundable, transferable and may be used for multiple transactions throughout the day. They are good throughout the Ski Season and may be purchased at the Ski School Desk.

Group Lessons: Group Lessons are for ages 6 & up. Daily at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. (Please note that 1:30 p.m. lessons may be limited on some weekdays.) Group Lessons are 1 to 1-1/2 hours in duration. Price for one Group Lesson $25 Book of 5 Group Lessons $105 Book of 10 Group Lessons $200 Private Lessons: Private lessons are for one hour and require an appointment. Private Lessons are available for all ages and all abilities for skiing, snowboarding and telemark skiing. All-day, half-day & video analysis also available by appointment. Cub's Club Nursery: Ages 4 months to 6 years old
Weekend, Holiday Periods & School Vacation Weeks - Full Day: 8am-4pm & 3pm-10pm
Weekdays - Full Day: 8:15am-4pm & 3pm-9pm; Friday: 8:15pm-4pm & 3pm-10pm
Lunch available for an additional $4.

Cub's Club: Ages 3, 4 & 5 years old
Available Weekends, Holiday Periods and School Vacation Weeks only.
Nursery care with outdoor play and an introduction to skiing for children ages 3-5 years old. Lessons generally go out around 10am for the morning session and 1pm for the afternoon session. Through this program children can learn and discover at their own speed.

Junior Rental Equipment available through our Rental Shop for an additional fee (available on a first-come, first-serve basis). Lunch is included in full-day program.

Multi-Day Kids Program Vouchers available.

Bear's Club: Ages 6 and above Available Weekends, Holiday Periods and School Vacation Weeks only. Students meet their instructors at the Bear's Den by 9:30am. Parents may pick their children up at 3:30pm. Lunch is included in full-day program. Junior Rental Equipment available through our Rental Shop for an additional fee (available on a first-come, first-serve basis). Lift ticket is included. Space is limited. Seasonal Programs - Peanuts, Mountaineers and Jason Wilkie:

Seasonal Programs focus on fun, recreational skiing while incorporating skier/rider etiquette, safety and mountain awareness. Programs start December 26th and meet on weekends, holidays and school vacation periods from 9:30am to 3:30pm with an instructor. Sessions leave the Bear's Den at 9:30am, Lunch is 12:00pm to 1:00pm, parents must pick up their children by 3:30pm. Note: December 26th is a 1/2 day 1pm to 3:30pm.

• Peanuts - Ages 3-5 and must be a self-sufficient skier and be able to master advance beginner terrain.
• Mountaineers - Ages 6-9 and must be intermediate skiers/riders and able to ride lifts.
• Jason Wilkie - Ages 10-14 and must be advanced intermediate skiers/riders.

There are no refunds if the child leaves the program or advances. No applications will be accepted for Seasonal Programs after the first weekend in January. A discount of $75.00 may be taken if paid by December 1st. Guests are welcomed but must ski at the same level as the student participating in the program.

Adult Clinic:

Cub Explorer: Ages 3-6 years old
For children whose parents are participating in the Adult Clinic.
An introduction to the sport of skiing with a fun and positive approach. The program is seven (7) sessions of morning nursery care with outdoor play for children ages 3-6. There is no scheduled lesson time. Rental Equipment and lunch are included.

Cub Ranger: Ages 3-6 years old who are self sufficient skiers.
For children whose parents are participating in the Adult Clinic.
Children must be able to turn, stop, and ride a surface lift. The program is seven (7) sessions of morning nursery care with an hour lesson. Rental Equipment and lunch are included.
