PATS PEAK DONATES TO PETERS FUND RACER FOR MELANOMA RESEARCH
Pats Peak donates over $500 to support melanoma research

Henniker, NH, April 1, 2010 – As part of Pats Peak March Mountain Madness Deals, Pats Peak donated $500 to support melanoma research.

Everyone who purchased a ticket to ski/ride at Pats Peak during the SPF Days received an all-day (8:30am-4pm), all lifts, Lift Ticket for only $15. Pats Peak donated $5 of their $15 lift ticket toward “Peter’s Fundracer” to support melanoma research. Guests were able to choose a sample of sunscreen or lip balm to protect themselves from the sun's rays.

Kris Blomback, General Manager of Pats Peak said, “We are happy to donate to this worthy cause. Our Snowsports Director is a huge supporter of this event and we felt that we could contribute to the cause during our March Specials.”

About the PETERS FUND RACER:
The primary focus is to raise money for melanoma research and patient care. Malignant melanoma is the most deadly form of skin cancer. The number of people who develop melanoma is increasing faster than any other cancer. Deaths from complications of this disease are increasing at a faster rate than deaths from any other form of cancer except lung cancer. On May 23rd, 1999, melanoma claimed the life of Peter M. Newton at the age of 46. To make a donation or for more information on Peters Fund Racer, please visit www.petersfundracer.com.
