PATS PEAK SKI AREA OFFERS
ADULT SKI/SNOWBOARD CLINICS AND WOMEN'S ONLY WEDNESDAY PROGRAM

Professional Lesson Clinics with Individual Attention

Henniker, NH, December 8, 2009 - Pats Peak, New Hampshire’s premier family snowsports destination, invites adults to join a Ski/Snowboard Clinic, the most cost effective way to learn or improve your skills with lots of attention on individual development. This is the perfect program for anyone with flexibility to take a day off during the week.

This season the Adult Ski/Snowboard Clinic offers a new option to make it easier for the adult on the go! Adults purchase seven half-days of professional lesson clinics with the Pats Peak Snowsports School, including lunch with their instructor, and they can take their lesson clinics at their leisure Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday morning, starting the week of January 4, 2010 until the end of the season (excluding Wednesdays, Monday, January 18 and February 15-26). These lessons must be taken during the 2009-210 season. The Lesson clinics meet at 10am at the Snowsports Meeting Place. The cost is $209 for seven half-day lesson clinics, lift ticket, and lunch ($115 for Pats Peak Season Pass Holders). For accomplished skiers and snowboarders a skiing and lunch only option is available for $159. Skiers/Snowboarders are welcome to sign up at the Pats Peak Snowsports Desk to “Try our Program” for a daily fee of $50/day for the Adult Ski/Snowboard Clinic.

On Wednesdays, starting January 6, 2010, women can participate in the WOW, Women’s Only Wednesday, Program. Women start the day off at 9am by enjoying a continental breakfast and an exciting morning discussion, designed specifically for women. Discussion topics include: skiing/snowboarding fears and risk factors, yoga, skiing/riding exercises, nutrition, strength & power, stance and balance, physical and psychological gender differences, confidence building, equipment and boot fitting, and video analysis to enhance basic skills and improve personal skiing/snowboarding. After morning discussions, participants head out onto the slopes for on-hill clinics taught by women only. The morning ends with a delicious lunch with instructors, allowing students and instructors to discuss their morning on the slopes. The cost is only $269 for a full seven-week program, lift, lesson, morning discussions, continental breakfast and lunch ($195 for Season Pass Holders). Skiers/Snowboarders are welcome to sign up at the Pats Peak Snowsports Desk to “Try our Program” for a daily fee of $60/day for the WOW Program.

Program rental equipment options are available. Children whose parents are participating in the Adult Clinic can join the Cub’s Club Child Care at Pats Peak.

“This is a great program for retail associates, hospital employees, law enforcement, restaurant personnel, mothers and retirees who have a midweek day off. They can choose a weekday that first their schedule the best allowing them to get out on the slopes at least once a week improving their ability and endurance”, says Bertie Holland, Ski/Snowboard School Director.
