Henniker, NH, March 15, 2008 -- PATS PEAK, New Hampshire’s premier family snowsports destination, has been voted #1 by boston.com’s Ski Guru, Ethan Binns, for the “Top Ski Area Two Hours from Boston”.

Ethan writes, “A stone's throw from Concord, Pat's Peak is one of my favorite places to recommend for families. That is their bread and butter. Pats has terrain levels for all abilities, reasonable price points, great learning programs, and an old school feel with a classic (but nice) lodge.” Pats Peak is about 1 ½ hours from the hub of Boston.

With over 10 ½ feet of natural snowfall so far this season along with hours of snowmaking, Pats Peak is 100% open with deep base depths. Pats Peak is open daily with lots of trails for beginners, intermediates, and experts; gladed skiing; terrain park; mini terrain park; learning areas; and more. The grooming fleet is out on the mountain each and every night to give skiers/riders the best conditions daily.

On Saturday Nights enjoy POP, Pay-One-Price, under the lights on Saturday Nights. POP is only $32 and includes a lift ticket and rental equipment. Ski or ride Saturday Nights 3pm to 10pm. Lesson Tips are from 4pm to 6pm in the Beginners Area. Step Up To "POP" Tickets are available: 12pm to 10pm - $62; 1pm to 10pm - $52; 2pm to 10pm - $42; 3pm to 10pm - $32. PATS PEAK is in its 45th consecutive ski and snowboard season under the Patenaude family ownership. PATS PEAK has 22 well-groomed trails, two terrain parks, a snowtubing park, 9 high capacity lifts and some of the most challenging skiing in Southern New Hampshire.
