| The racing program is controlled
through a board of directors and is directed and managed both
on hill and off by the Program Director. Program funding is
through program fees, club dues, USSA races, the Annual Ski
and Skate Sale, and other miscellaneous activities. The Pats
Peak Ski Club season begins in the fall with weekend dry land
training sessions, followed by early winter snow training that
begins in November at Waterville Valley.
The Ski Club racing season begins the second Saturday in
December or the first weekend Pats Peak opens.
Thereafter, racers assemble each weekend day and every day
during holiday vacation at the Alpine Training Center (ATC)
at Pats Peak.
Race day schedules vary. At the end of the week of December
vacation, groups are formed and coaches are assigned. |
