The 2018/2019 season marks the 56th consecutive ski and snowboard season under the same local family ownership. Pats Peak is New Hampshire’s premier family snowsports destination with 28 well-groomed trails, three terrain parks, a snowtubing park, 11 lifts, 100 percent snowmaking, night skiing on all trails on the main mountain, three separate beginner areas and some of the most challenging terrain in Southern New Hampshire.
Pats Peak has more than 70 Adult Racing teams in the Adult Corporate Racing League, an After School Learn to Ski and Snowboard Program for more than 8,000 kids from over 100 local schools and the most Night Skiing in Southern New Hampshire. 
Pats Peak is one of the state’s most accessible learn-to-ski-and-snowboard mountains. From three separate beginner areas to the only ski area in the state to boast two F.I.S. Race Trails, Pats Peak will introduce its guests to the best way of celebrating winter.

This season, Pats Peak enters its 56th consecutive ski and snowboard season under the Patenaude family ownership, which makes it the longest continuously operating ski area run by the same owner. Pat Peak was the first mountain in New Hampshire to have snowmaking (1960’s) and was instrumental in getting other ski areas operational. Turbulence Terrain Park is the Main Park, located in the Valley area. Features include tabletops, rails, boxes and more. Features change each week based on weather, snow conditions and feedback from riders.
Microburst Progression Park, located on the Whisper trail, is a park for kids and beginners. Features include smaller boxes, rails, rollers & jumps.

F5 Terrain Park, located on the Knight Slopes trail, is an advanced park with 3-4 features including boxes and rails. F5 lift hours are 10am-3pm on Saturdays & Sundays and Holiday Periods.
Early December to Late March
100% snowmaking coverage guarantees great conditions all season long. “Snow White” is the single largest reciprocal compressor in the East. Pats Peak has one of the highest capacity computer controlled snowmaking systems per acre in the Northeast. The Hurricane trail is home to the only fully automatic SMI fan guns in all of New England. Snowmaking pipelines charge automatically and guns turn on and off as temps permit. Blizzards are produced almost every night to keep the best bump run in Southern New Hampshire in great shape all season long. The Twister trail has automated HKD snow guns, allowing a fresh coat of snow to be added nightly to the trail.
This year’s list of capital improvements for the 2018-2019 season include a snowmaking compressor, additional energy-efficient snowmaking fan guns and towers, snowmaking powerline upgrade, new rental equipment and continuing lodge expansion construction.
Groups, including families, friends, schools and adult & youth organizations, can save money by planning their trip through Group Sales. Pats Peak is home to northern New England’s largest rental shop. Every season the Starting Gate Rental Shop continues to add to its already impressive rental fleet. The state-of-the-art 9,600 square foot Rental Shop provides fast service to renters along with a carpet lift that takes guests and their equipment up to the slopes.

S&W Sports Demo Center at Pats Peak, located in the Finish Line Ski & Board Shop, has the latest in high performance shaped skis available for demo. 
The Snowtubing Park is located on the Gusty trail, serviced by a lift to get you back up to the top of the lanes. The Tubing Park is 600 feet long with several lanes. Ski boots are not allowed and riders must be 44" tall and at least 5 years old to snowtube. Riders must lay on their stomachs to tube. Snowtubing tickets are limited in order to ensure a pleasurable tubing experience for you! Advanced Reservations Recommended. 2018-2019 SEASON PASSES:

The “20Something” Season Pass is perfect for anyone from 18-29 years old that is passionate about skiing/snowboarding and looking for an affordable way to enjoy the slopes this winter. College is expensive and getting by on your own in your 20s can be difficult. This “20Something” Season Pass can be purchased for the discounted rate of $222. It is valid 7 days per week for unlimited skiing/riding, day and night.

Finish Line Ski & Board Shop: Find the latest ski/snowboard clothing and accessories to make your day on our slopes more comfortable. The Tuning and Repair Center has certified techs to sharpen, wax and tune your equipment along with binding adjustments. Located on the lower level in the Main Lodge.
Tradewinds Café: Tradewinds Café is the main cafeteria offering quality fresh foods with many of the dishes homemade. Tradewinds Café opens one hour before lifts daily so guests can come early and enjoy breakfast, which is cooked to order. The cafeteria closes 15 to 30 minutes after lifts so guests can get in the last run of the day and still stop in and get a bite to eat or a hot drink before heading home. No meal is complete without a Pats Peak Famous M&M Cookie for dessert.
Valley Lodge Counter: Located in the Valley Lodge. Guests can satisfy their hunger with sandwichs and soups along with a variety of other snack and drink options.
Sled Pub: The Sled Pub to offers guests delicious food and a full selection of beverages in a warm fun pub style environment. Don’t miss “Almost Acoustic Fridays” and the hottest après-ski party in the area every Saturday afternoon!
The Pats Peak Snowsports School bases its instruction on the American Teaching System, a method used by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI). This method is proven program for developing and refining skills. Experienced and certified staff provides instruction for skiers/riders of all ages and abilities.
Starter Special: For the first time skier or snowboarder ages 6 and up. Includes beginner group lesson, rental equipment, and full day lift ticket to Valley area. This is the package that enters you in the Pats Peak Passport Program*. We’re so confident we can teach you how to ski or ride – we guarantee it. No reservations are necessary for the Starter Special. The Starter Special is available at 10:00 am; 11:30 am; 1:30 pm* (*limited availability midweek; please call ahead.)
*Passport Program: Award Winning, All Inclusive, designed for Beginners. You'll receive a Passport during the first lesson. This is a 4-day program (must be 6+ years old): Purchase 4 Starter Special Packages on 4 separate days for $89 each (total: $356). On the 4th day, receive a: FREE Pats Peak Unlimited Season Pass and Free Daily Use Of Rental Equipment for the remainder of the 2018-2019 season. Use of Rental Equipment is based on availability and not available for Saturday Night POP. Plus, receive 50%-Off additional Group Lessons. Lessons do not need to be consecutive but this program needs to be completed by the end of the 2018-2019 season. Lessons are offered daily at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. (note that 1:30 p.m. lessons are limited on some weekdays). This is a one-time program per person for someone NEW to skiing. There are no refunds if the program is not completed by the end of the 2018-2019 season. This program cannot be combined with any other offers.
“Passport Program PLUS” For Beginners: The pre-paid “Passport Program PLUS” is for beginners to earn a free Season Pass and brand-new pair of Elan Skis with Bindings. This pre-paid program can be purchased for $349 for those ages 18+ and includes 4 lift, lesson and rentals packages. At the completion of the program, the beginner skier will received their own pair of Elan Skis with Bindings FREE along with a Pats Peak Season Pass valid for the remainder of the 2018-2019 season. Limited quantities available before it sells out. Ski sizes range from 146-160cm and will accommodate appropriate skier type abilities for participants in this beginner program. There are limited amounts of equipment per size. Sizes will be distributed based on a first-come, first-served basis upon completion of the program. Limited to two participants per household. The four lessons do not need to be consecutive and are valid any day during the 2018-19 winter season only. This is a one-time program per person for someone NEW to the sport of skiing. Pats Peak has partnered with these ski shops to provide a location for these participants to purchase a pair of ski boots for their new skis: S&W Sports in Concord, NH; Ken Jones in Manchester, NH; Proctor Ski & Board in Nashua, NH; Buchika's Ski & Bike in Salem, NH; The Ski House in Somerset, MA.

Group Lessons: For ages 6 & up. Daily at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m. lessons may be limited on some weekdays.) Group Lessons are 1 to 1-1/2 hours in duration. Lesson Cards are available for a savings of approximately 10-20%. These books are non-refundable, transferable and may be used for multiple transactions throughout the day. Burton Learn To Ride (LTR) Center
Pats Peak is a Burton Learn To Ride Center (LTR) with LTR Boards designed to accelerate learning by utilizing beginner-specific equipment. Pats Peak has earned the distinction of becoming the first Burton Women’s Learn to Ride Center in New Hampshire.
Burton's specialized women's rental equipment and snowboard lessons are offered for women every day, but female snowboarders are guaranteed a 100% Women's Only lesson, at 11:30am every Saturday.
Burton Learn To Ride provides snowboard beginners with gear designed to improve their experience as well as proven teaching methods to make for an enjoyable and successful first day. The equipment is tailored by gender and age to maximize each individual's learning potential. LTR boards are designed to reduce the likelihood of catching an edge while learning and the LTR boots and bindings are softer flexing, allowing the rider to more easily guide the board into a turn. Developed in conjunction with the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) and major resorts around North America, the LTR methodology stresses getting people to link turns in the first lesson.
The Kids LTR Boards are designed for children 12 and under and groups kids with their peers, on equipment to fit their height & weight.
Kids’ Programs: Cub’s Club Child Care is for children ages 4 months to 6 years old. The Cub's Club Program, which is child care with outdoor play and an introduction to skiing, is for ages 3-5 years old and available weekdays, weekends & holidays. Bear's Club is for ages 6-14 years old and available weekends & holidays. Seasonal Programs are available for children starting at age 3 up to age 14 and meet on weekends, holidays and vacation periods from 9:30am to 3:30pm with an hour break for lunch. Kids Program Lesson Cards are available for a savings of approximately 10-20%. These books are non-refundable, transferable and may be used for multiple transactions throughout the day. They are good throughout the Ski Season and may be purchased at the Snowsports Desk.
Adult Ski/Snowboard Clinics: Professional Lesson Clinics with the Pats Peak Snowsports School. Lesson Clinics can be taken Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday morning, starting the January 2, 2019 until the end of the season (excluding Wednesdays, Monday of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, February President’s Week and NH School Vacation Week). The Adult Ski/Snowboard Clinic cards are transferable and may be used for multiple transactions on one day. They are good for the ski and ride season in which they were purchased. There are no refunds or exchanges. Lesson clinics meet at 10am at the Snowsports School Meeting Place. This program includes a morning half-day lift ticket and lunch with your instructor. Discount Clinic Cards are available: $175 Card for 5-Adult Clinics; $300 Card for 10-Adult Clinics; $40/day Guest for a Day/Try our Adult Clinic; $125 5-Adult Clinics for a Season Pass Holder; $200 10-Adult Clinics for a Season Pass Holder; $30/day Guest for a Day/Try our Program for a Season Pass Holder. Kids Programs are available for children.
WOW (Women’s Only Wednesday) Program: On Wednesdays, starting January 2, 2019, women can participate in the WOW, Women’s Only Wednesday, Program. Women start the day off at 9am by enjoying a continental breakfast and an exciting morning discussion, designed specifically for women. Discussion topics include: skiing/snowboarding fears and risk factors, yoga, skiing/riding exercises, nutrition, strength & power, stance and balance, physical and psychological gender differences, confidence building, equipment and boot fitting, and more. After morning discussions, participants head out onto the slopes for on-hill clinics taught by women only. The morning ends with a delicious lunch with instructors, allowing students and instructors to discuss their morning on the slopes. The cost is only $289 for a full seven-week program, lift, lesson, morning discussions, continental breakfast and lunch ($215 for Season Pass Holders). Skiers/Snowboarders are welcome to sign up at the Pats Peak Snowsports Desk to “Try our Program” for a daily fee of $60/day. Kids Programs up to age 6 are available for children whose parent is participating in the WOW Program.
Weekday Learn To Ski And Ride Program: More than 8,000 kids from over 100 local schools, recreation centers and home school programs participate in the Pats Peak’s Weekday Learn to Ski and Ride Program, offering lessons for all abilities and rental packages. The program is for prescheduled school groups for five weeks. Students must sign up through their school/program coordinator. Open Program available for individual registrations.
The Pats Peak Child Care cares for children ages 4 months to 6 years old. Cub’s Club child care offers an outdoor play and an introduction to skiing option for children ages 3-5 years old.
The race league begins January 2, 2018 and concludes at the end of NH School Vacation Week. Races are held weekly, weather permitting. The entry fee guarantees 7 races, which count towards the finals. Any make-ups (to reach 7 races) will be held on Thursday and Friday nights in March. Teams are comprised of five to seven skiers or riders at least 21 years of age. Prizes are awarded to individual men, women, and teams, both weekly and cumulatively.
NASTAR (National Standard Race) is a great way to enjoy the challenge and thrill of recreational racing. NASTAR is located on the Downdraft trail for all ages and abilities. Open holiday periods, weekends and school vacation weeks from 11:30 am to 3 pm. Sign up to race at the top of the NASTAR Race Course.
Discover “The Other Season of Pats Peak”. April through December Pats Peak is New Hampshire’s Premier Banquet Facility, accommodating up to 200 guests for any type of event from weddings, receptions, company retreats, company meetings, class reunions, anniversary parties and more. Facility amenities include beautiful stone fireplaces, air-conditioning and panoramic views of the mountain.
