PATS PEAK’S JOE VALLEY HONORED WITH PSIA-AASI EASTERN MEMBERSHIP AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO SNOWBOARD COMMUNITY
Henniker, NH, November 19, 2025 –Pats Peak is proud to announce that Joe Valley, Snowboard Manager, was honored with a PSIA-AASI Eastern Membership Award for his exceptional dedication to advancing snowsports education and strengthening the regional snowboard community.
The Eastern Board of Directors launched a renewed initiative to recognize members who have made significant, lasting contributions to the organization and the industry. A new Nomination Committee was established during the 2023–2024 season, opening the door for peers across the region to spotlight standout professionals. Joe quickly emerged as one of those most deserving of recognition.
A 15-year member of the organization, Joe holds Snowboard Level III, Freestyle Specialist 1, and Child Specialist 1 certifications. His leadership as Snowboard Manager has shaped a positive, supportive culture rooted in skill development, mentorship, and passion for the sport.
Joe received numerous nominations praising his commitment to fostering a strong riding community through his weekly clinics, which he opens to instructors from any mountain. These sessions go beyond technical training, emphasizing teaching excellence, relationship-building, and a growth mindset. Joe’s efforts have helped countless riders set and achieve meaningful goals while deepening their connection to the sport.
His influence extends across the AASI community as well. Joe has introduced many riders to the organization and supported their progress through various levels of accreditation.
