YEAR-ROUND POSITION:

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC

Immediate opening for a full-time, year round, skilled and motivated vehicle mechanic.  Qualified applicants must be self-sufficient and have a background in vehicle and equipment maintenance, including light auto body, diesel/gasoline, engines and hydraulic systems with 3 or more years of experience.  Duties will include maintenance and modifications on vehicles, snowcats (will train for specifics), heavy equipment, ATV's and snowmobiles. Applicant must be skilled in the use of mechanical tools, materials, welding and testing equipment. Must be comfortable working on an outdoor, mountain environment. Must have own tools. Team environment requires some nights and weekends during ski season. Position offers an excellent benefits package, including:  group health insurance, 401k, profit sharing, seasonal meal plan, and year round employment. WINTER SEASON POSITIONS:

CLEANING TEAM MEMBER

Full-time seasonal cleaning team member, December-April. Daily duties will include but not be limited to: Maintaining a high level of cleanliness of all lodges, bathrooms and grounds. The team also sets up for special events.  This position does require constant walking, climbing of ladders and stairs and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You must be able to work days, nights and weekends. Winter hours will approach 50-60 weekly. Normal work week for the ski season is 6 day a week with a few weeks of 7 days. Night and weekends are a must.

FUN SQUAD: ASSISTANT MANAGER

The Fun Squad department is looking for a seasonal, full-time Assistant Manager. Positive energy and great people skills are a must. Departmental responsibilities include: Hospitality Greeters, Mascots, Children's Fun Activities, Lift Line Supervision and Coordination, Assist Special Events Director.

Looking for a few fun and outgoing people to join the Fun Squad. Ideal candidates will enjoy talking and interacting with the public, including children, and must love to have fun!
Greeter- Will be the first and last contact with the public as they enter and exit the facility. Must be outgoing and pleasant. Will be well educated in all aspects of Pats Peak.
All positions require weekend, holiday and school vacation shifts.

FREESTYLE SUPERVISOR, COACH / INSTRUCTOR 

Full Time position, Monday – Friday (5 days) daily salaried position. Opportunities to work 6 day a week if approved by Director. Coordinate Snowsports Freestyle Lesson Time line-ups for instructors. A large portion of our lessons are to local school aged children participating in a five week program, along with group and private lessons offered to the general public. GUEST SERVICES 

Starting December 1st. Full time position (40 hrs.) Monday – Friday and part time positions (16 – 20 hrs.) Weekends and/or Nights. Must have 2 years’ experience in Guest/Customer Service. Must have knowledge in MS Word and Excel and be able to multi task. Being able to snowboard or ski is a plus.​

SKI AND SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS

Full and Part-Time positions available. Must be 16 years or older to be an instructor. Previous experience is a plus. Competitive wages. We offer free skiing/snowboarding, rentals and lessons; meal discounts and discounts in our Retail Shop.
Instructor applicants are encouraged to attend all meetings below: 

  • Instructor Fall Meeting: Sunday, November 4th at 10:00am sharp: There will be a brief meeting in the backside of the Rental Shop to go over what is expected of you as well as an update on meeting and training dates. 

  • Jump Start to Teaching: Wednesday, November 7th and November 14th, 6:30-8:30pm: Indoor training for being a Ski or Snowboard Instructor. 

  • Hiring Clinic: Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th: The plan is to be on snow both days so come prepared. If you want a job, you must come both days. This is your interview - skills and personality a PLUS!

SLED PUB ASSISTANT MANAGER 

The Sled Pub is looking for an Assistant Manager for the upcoming winter season.  This person will assist with the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of Bartenders, Bar Backs/Runners and Wait Staff, as well as opening/closing responsibilities, during the winter season. The assistant manager will also be a bartender and/or a server. Must have extensive bartending experience in high volume environment and supervisor/manager experience in a restaurant environment. Must be Team, Tip or Bar Code certified. A friendly, positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills are required. Time management skills are important as well as working collaboratively in a team environment. Eligible for Skiing and Riding privileges.

The barback is responsible for, but not limited to, assisting the bartenders, food running, as well as helping with opening and closing procedures. TUBING SUPERVISOR

Tubing Supervisor is in charge of the tubing park and ensures that all employees adhere to all company rules.  Ensures that Tubing Attendants maintain the loading and unloading areas, performs crowd control, checks tubing tickets and season passes. This is an outside job working in a variety of winter weather elements. The Tubing Supervisor ensures that the daily operation of the Tubing Park is done in a safe and efficient manner while promoting positive guest relations with riders and staff. All applicants are encouraged to attend our Hiring Fair regardless of whether or not you have already submitted an application (except for Ski and Snowboard Instructors). Returning employees are also encouraged to attend the Hiring Fair unless otherwise notified by your manager. People who interview at the Hiring Fair are more likely to get selected for a position than people who do not.
